An Artist’s Take on Torture in China in Violation of the Convention against Torture

A Chinese artist produced a series of cartoons depicting torture methods used by Chinese police. The artist also created cartoons based on the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, which highlight China’s commitments under the Convention and compare China’s obligations with the reality on the ground.
